hi again!

christmas is coming really soon, only two weeks left. and much less for me to go back to finland. it's great to go back! but also sad to leave some friends behind. more than four months gone. feels strange.
i'm having a verey hectic end to this malmö-time with all the farewell activities, social events...and shopping for christmas presents :) now we're going to have lunch out and in the evening we'll have a fancy wine and cheese night..
...but anyway, here is a pic eliisa took of me at the wedding. :)

some of my lovely friends from oulu came to visit me in malmö about a month ago. we had a really good time! it was good to spend time with people who i really know and love, and who know me as well...
right now i'm in finland visiting them before they all go to their exchange somewhere far far away.
time ha gone by so fast, i've been here for three days, but it feels like i've just arrived...

...what's happening here..nothing much. it's starting to get really cold, a bit below zero. i started a course in uni a few weeks ago and it is so very interesting! ...about un children's rights. there is a lot to do, but because it's so interesting i love it. work is good. at least i don't get bored. :)

only a little while left here in malmö... i'm off to finland for christmas and london for new year's.

...so, the wedding went really well, was a lot of fun! here's a pic from there, us "children" and dad.

i'm getting a head-start for christmas now, just made a big gingerbread-castle with my friend alex. looks awesome.. :)

dear all,
i hope you are well!
the autumn has finally come to malmö, it started raining last night for the first time in months. the weather has been extremely good for the whole time i've been here! life goes on in it's normal track, nothing very special. hanging around with nice people, attending lessons at school and partying and went to copenhagen a few times, an amazing city full of character and action! ...and i'll visit it again on thursday when my sister eliisa comes. i just love that city!:)


updating...i'll go to finland next week for a few days to help out and attend to my father's wedding...exciting!

i had some friends visiting me and i loved seeing them, people i love.
and even if i really really like it here, i miss my girls in finland too ;)

and/but i can't wait to go travelling far far far and meet all the new lovely people from all over and see all the new places and eat new exotic food. maybe on christmas, maybe only in the summer... we'll see. :)
ah, time to travel...

a brief look into what i've been doing recently...

these pics are from uganda from april and may. I was teaching there for two months with two of my friends. :)

after uganda i took part in an eu course about civil crisis management, and it was really good, a great experience. i learnt a great deal about EU and set some new goals for myself concerning my future career...

july-august

then i was in london for a bit over a month and flew to sweden, where i am studying now.

i went to my friend's wedding and it was very beautiful and lovely occasion. I must say the whole weekend in finland was lovely, i visited my grandfather and helped picking some berries and stuff. :)

i'm doing my exchange here, studying drama now and un's chlidren's rights later this year. and i am enjoying my stay here and especially meeting new lovely people from all over the world!
